The Best Online Card Games

I can not understand this obsession that my sister has with online card games. It seems that playing card games online, much of the thrill of the normal game would disappear, but she seems to like nothing better. It started as a casual hobby, but has quickly become a life destroying, time sucking obsession, from which there is no escape at all. Every morning, she plays online games. Every evening she plays more online games. At first is was just a simple game of hearts presently again, but now it encompasses everything from bridge to go fish, to some of these new fangled trading card games like Magic the Gathering. I swear, she even has online card game message groups which she subscribes to to get the latest online card game news. How could online card games even have news – I mean, what new could happen. Did someone discover a magical fourteenth card in the suit?
Me, personally, I can not stand the online games which seem to bring my dear sister such pleasure in her life. I can not even see the point of these online card games. I mean for me, playing card has always been regarding the social factor of the thing. You get together with friends, have a few drinks, deal a few hands, and maybe place down some small wagers. It does not cost more than a night out with the buddies, and normally it costs less, and it is just a ideal means to hang out with the friends and catch up on what is new in each others lives. But with these online card games – I don’t know. It just seems so distant, and you are playing with strangers. And “LOL” is just no substitute for the real sound of your friends laughter as the hand is finished and another one is dealt.
I think that the internet has various good things regarding it, but I think that in some ways it has also robbed us of some of our meaningful social connections. I mean, people play card games online, football games online – they even practice dating online. It is great to be able to exchange information at about the speed of light, but life is not just about exchanging information. It is about connecting with people, having time to talk and play and laugh. And you simply can not do that online.

Help answer the question about online card game
Can someone help me recall the name of an online card game?I used to play this game all the time on my old computer, which had it already preloaded. It was similar to Solitaire, but I believe it involved moving cards from a bottom stack to one of four or five others, and I think you could go bacward or forward in the suit. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but it was fun and somewhat addictive (mayube I shouldn't be trying to find it)!

Wow, First to answer.
What about Eye of Judgment? Exclusively for the PS3 and with an ever growing community.
It involves a camera and you lay monsters down (using real cards) and 'pop' the monster appears on screen, you can interact with it etc. It is really cool! (The PS3 reads your cards!)
As it is played with a PS3, you can play it verses the computer or online against other people – compete in tournaments etc. Its made by the same people are Magic The Gathering, so you cant any better than that!
Also, all of the calculations are done for you by the PS3.

I'd give an AMAZON.com gift card instead of the Visa or AMEX. The choices are unlimited online and often there is free shipping. The Visa or AMEX cards are good, but what do you do with the $2 or $3 left if your purchase isn't precisely what you buy the card for? The companies usually get these leftover amounts as profit. With AMAZON, any left over money can be stored in the account and will be used with another purchase until it's completely used up.

Playing a card game is allowed as long as your not gambling. You should avoid games, mostly video games with nonsense in it: Like Grand Theft Auto has a lot of sexuality and cursing in it.
As long as you play a game that doesn't take your focus away from your life and duties, it's fine. Playing solitaire gets boring after a while. ; )
And it seems like people are just calling random things HARAM, HARAM, HARAM, today! How annoying!
