Xbox Games For Online Gaming That Mom And Dad Should Know About
If your kid has an Xbox and they play online you will often here them either yelling at the TV or talking to you about how awesome it is. You will often see your kid wanting to play role playing games or shooting games because they like the action and shooting. If you love to play Halo then you will love to play that type of game online. Your kid probably already plays the game and that’s what he has been trying to tell you forever. That’s probably all they talk about at the dinner table is online this and online that.
If you have a computer and an internet connection you can play any online game as long as you buy the game so you can make an account. I play Counterstrike and I love it. You just get online and start playing with your friends from the game. You will make friends fast online if you play a decent amount. The more you play the better you will get. Most kids that play computer games online play the most insane hours that you will ever hear. Kids somehow find a way to play more then 50 hours a week. It is in the stats on counterstrike if you were to look.
The other type of games that you might find your students or kids playing is the flash games online. While at school I used to play the flash games after I did my work because I had a computer class and I had computers in some of my other classes. We would get online and look for games that were fun until school was out and we could go get on the real servers and play real online games.
If you have an Xbox or a Sony Play Station then you probably already know about online gaming. All you do is sign up for the service and you play the type of games that are online enabled. You just go to the store where you buy your games from and you pick out the ones if you are playing online. Most online games are games like Gears of War and Halo 3. You can also find games like Call of Duty I think they actually just came out with a new Call of Duty game called Call of Duty – Modern Warfare. I heard it was a good game but I am not sure if it is online enabled. Although I am pretty sure that you play it online because most of the Call of Duty games you can play online. They are pretty fun you usually just go out and start shooting up the other team. There are role playing games and such like that but they don’t tend to make them online although they do have a few of them I think like Final Fantasy and games like those. I am not really into the whole anime theme like the fable games and stuff; online gaming is for shooting games in my opinion.

this is a new naruto online game some what like mugen but with a little more freedom i havent got the gang of it yet but u can play online against other ppl and u can have 4vs4 battles
Help answer the question about online game
How come while playing an online game or watching a video online it sometimes restarts itself?I will be playing an online game or watching a video or something and the game/video will start from the beginning again at a random moment. I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

First thing…GAMING IS NOT A BAD THING. Second…no, i do not think that everyone will accept gaming. Ways you can talk your parents into it is by: Telling them things that they might think gaming does to you but really has not happened to you.
Example: Everyone says that gaming can make people for violent. Now ask them, "Am I a violent person" (unless you actually are a violent person and that just screws up my whole theory thing lol)

you have to have a router to hook 2 different things to one internet connection, its a splitter basically, so just putting it in your room wont help, it still has to be connected to the internet. you can get a router that is wired or wireless, but if the connection is in the other room, you either have to run a wire or get a wireless one. maybe you should bide your time(i know its hard) and try to get a cheap wireless one used or at a pawn shop, or talk your dad into helping you with the wire.

I'd get a xbox 360 game.. with that home theatre system you have setup it will be amazing.. having fun with friends while playing xbox 360 on a home theatre system what else could you ask for…

The PS3 without chrome trim that was released on launch was the 20GB PS3. It does NOT have wireless internet capabilities. If you want to connect to the internet you'll have to connect through an ethernet cable, or buy a new 60GB, 40GB, or 80GB PS3 to go wireless.
The Playstation Network is completely free for life, though you can buy add ons and games such as warhawk off the Playstation Store.
You can play PS2 and PS3 games online with the PS3.

Why do mmorpg make the trailers look so real i mean most of the game trailers dun even look like the gameplay and than when ya get catched up by the trailer and play the game itl be a big disapointment

Dynasty Warrior Gundam 2 is very interesting its co-op so you two can play it has alot of things to do also(its good if you want to learn about the gundam series)
Halo 3 is very popular these days so you want to consider buying it too really good when your playing with other people
Army Of Two is very good co-op game its fun also but the online is lame its good just for the story mode but theres plenty of missions and guns that will make you play it (there is also a sequel coming out for this game so you might consider buying it when it comes out im not sure when it will come though)

when you get one you dont play a little bit you play ALOT! it is very addictive when you start it. trust me my brother is in yr 12 and he is failing cos he doesnt study he only studies xbox games and he said exactly what you said lol

You have the option not to talk to people online, and I believe you can mute the sound. So you could tell your parents thats what you would be doing.
Online is more that chatting. It lets you play games in a different, funner way with people from all over. I love my xbox live. Yes there are rude people, but the majority of people are laid back. Try telling them it's not about the people you will meet, it is about the games you can play and the different way you can play them. It's like trying to play Monopoly alone… thats no fun you need other people.
Plus you will be interacting with other people and being social, instead of being in your room alone. Thats always nice. I mean your parents dont want you to turn into an anti-social hermet right??
You can buy a card in a store (yearly is the best deal) or on the internet. Go to the xbox website and register, then on the side there will be a "modify membership" link, click that and you can purchase live there. I will warn you that by doing it this way it takes out $$ from the credit card used, every month (or 3mo, 6mo, 12mo depending on your membership plan)
Or you can buy a card at the store and redeem your code using your xbox or on the internet (in the modify membership link)
If you have a job or make extra $$ you can pay for it yourself (although parents paying always makes it better lol) it's 8.99 a month. They also have 3 month plans 6month(i think) and yearly. Like I said before the yearly is the best deal I think it's about $55. Comes out to about 1/2 what you would pay if you paid monthly.

This is a great post and its very creative indeed but if only you people would properly give cubefield a shot. Its a great game. Very addicitve and very entertaining to all age groups.
